Stefir

I hope Klarien has blessed you well this day. I am Stefir, Chronologist of the Age of Dooms , and the most powerful Chronomancer in the history of Talan and almost certainly the most powerful Evoker as well. You no doubt noted that I am a Solon, given my silver hair and pointed ears and earlobes. You are likely wondering why a Solon has the appearance of a 60-year old man given that Solon normally cease aging after about a hundred years looking like a 30-year old. That is because my expertise came at a cost, for I have overlined on many occasions– exceeded my personal magical Flux limit, and this causes a Mage to unnaturally age. I did this while performing missions vital to Talan and while learning the two Magical Disciplines in which I excel. You also see that I carry a stave roughly my own height as my Symbol of Power, and this, together with Silentwing my barn owl Familiar, enables my amazing level of ability not only as a Chronomancer but also as an Evoker who can wield powerful spells of energy and destruction.
Born near the end of the Sacred Age, I studied Chronomancy under Lufir, the Chronologist of the Sacred Age. When not abroad saving Talan, I live in Lidor Tower in the West-Realm province of Walanar, where I have a sizable staff that supports my work as the Chronologist. Lidor Tower is also the headquarters of the Chrono Force, a military organization that I predominantly employ on the River of Time. The Chrono Force moves about the River of Time as necessary to execute missions, including the search for and rescuing of Chrono Talents— those born with limited innate Chronomancy Skill that they normally cannot control.
Not only am I the Chronologist of our Age, I am also the Crown Wizard of both West-Realm and Walanar. As such, I am the principal magical adviser to the ruler of West-Realm and to the Walanar Prince. I am the son of Elmir—who was once the High Priest of the Cult of Vyxana—and Lalmara, whom I believe died in my birth.
I have a Companion Rubetha, once a Valkara Evoker, although I am now uncertain of her exact whereabouts since she vanished to a location unknown to the outside world after our love. Such is the way of all Valkar who are defeated in their chosen field of expertise.
In Rubetha’s case, that was the Evocation Magical Discipline, and she was the reason I learned Evocation, that I might defeat her at the Tournament Exhibitions in the Contest of Evocation. At the start of our story, I am unfortunately in the company of Ogador, Heir Prince of West-Realm, whom I have been forced throughout his life to mentor, for we are on a mission compelled by a Lord of West-Realm to find and rescue the escaped slave Journeyman. We must bring this slave into his inheritance and send him safely back to his homeland so that he might one day bring Talan into the Age of Promise.
