May 14th, 2026 was an evening filled with fun, food, and fellowship as the Talan Team introduced the world of Talan: The Journeyman to the public. We were ecstatic to welcome a wide array of guests; from family and friends of the team and folks intrigued by the local newspaper ad to a couple our writer invited the day of the event after they bumped into each other at the print shop that made a map of the Talan world. Krootz Brewing Company was the perfect venue, even introducing two new brews from Talan: Gallbard Stout and Bay Bitters. A few guests joined us virtually in addition to all who were in attendance.
Several members of the Talan team were present, including our Writer Charles Dale Sykora, Editor Craig Sykora, Producer Ryan Bellgardt, Lead Animator Stephanie Bellgardt, Previsualization Director Jonathan Koelsch, Cartographer Matt Johnson, and Executive Producer Kevin Jackson. We were also joined virtually by our Director Christine Moore and Co-Writer Brian Williams. Local influencer Tonya Spanglo was also in attendance.
Our guests were introduced to Talan with an AI trailer video showcasing some of the exciting scenes that the main character Jessar experiences as he fights for freedom. More sneak peaks will be available on our website in the coming months.
